From Disappointment to Due Diligence!

This is the story of Dr. Lonna Hardin, founder of Voiceblocks. As a single parent navigating the special education system for her daughter, she saw a critical need and built the solution: an AI-powered platform to help families manage care and advocate effectively.

Despite having a powerful solution, she faced the isolating challenge of being an underrepresented founder seeking capital. The turning point? A chance encounter at SXSW with the Institute for Entrepreneurial Leadership (IFEL) team, which she thought "might be what I came for." That meeting led her to the Creating Conscious Collisions Tour, an experience she calls "healing and affirming," and an introduction to Pipeline Angels. They didn't just offer an investment; they provided a masterclass in fundraising, preparing her for every step. The capital was a catalyst, but the credibility was transformational.

As Dr. Hardin puts it, "The moment you can say you are backed by Pipeline Angels, the entire tenor of the conversation changes." Her story is a powerful testament to finding a "tribe" that offers not just a check, but education, validation, and a community to grow with.
