Dr. Sanna Gaspard’s journey proves just how transformative the power of “we” can be. From groundbreaking innovation to invaluable leadership training, her story exemplifies the incredible outcomes that emerge when entrepreneurs have more connections, resources, and support. We're excited here at the Institute for Entrepreneurial Leadership (IFEL) is excited to share her story.

Creating Connections: The Beginning of Something Beautiful at CCC

In 2023, Dr. Gaspard attended the Creating Conscious Collisions event in Washington, DC, a dynamic space where founders, policymakers, and allies come together to strengthen partnerships. The event was a launchpad for her next chapter. Inspired by the experience, Dr. Gaspard tapped into the resources of IFEL (us!) and was selected for the Philadelphia cohort later that same year.

Through IFEL, Dr. Gaspard gained access to support and tools that elevated her work and opened doors to new opportunities.

Changing Mindsets: Scaling Innovation and Utilizing Resources

As the founder of Rubitection, Dr. Gaspard is tackling a massive $26 billion healthcare challenge with an AI-driven solution designed to address chronic skin conditions. Her innovative technology combines a handheld device with AI-powered software, targeting a $4.3 billion market and projecting $290 million in sales over the next six to seven years. It’s pretty cool. 

But Dr. Gaspard’s success isn’t solely defined by numbers—it’s driven by a mindset focused on drumroll the power of “we”. Thanks to IFEL’s hands-on guidance in key areas like legal compliance, marketing, operations, and financial planning, she’s got the tools to position Rubitection for sustained growth.

In May 2024, through a partnership with Sullivan, Dr. Gaspard participated in an 8-week intensive marketing and branding program. This program provided a refresh of branding, hands on branding support and clearer brand positioning.

Inspiring Action: Leading with Vision

In the summer of 2024, Dr. Gaspard earned an all-expenses-paid scholarship to attend Summer 2024 WOCCON Leadership Training in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Immersed in Zingerman’s 12 Natural Laws of Business, she walked away with actionable strategies to amplify Rubitection’s impact and streamline its operations.

“What resonated with me during the Zingerman training,” Dr. Gaspard reflected, “is the open finance model, open communication structure, and Zingtrain's corporate structure model."

The Power of Support: Fueling Innovation Together

Dr. Gaspard’s journey is a testament to the remarkable things that happen when entrepreneurs are supported by a network of collaborators, champions, and donors. Through IFEL’s programs and partnerships, she’s gained the tools, resources, and connections to take Rubitection to the next level and beyond.
